What is the difference between a stainless steel and a polymer manifold?

The AISI 304 stainless steel manifold is built for mechanical strength and a refined finish, while the high-performance technopolymer manifold is lighter and corrosion resistant. Both versions are available with 1" and 1"1/4 connections and ship complete with flow meters and isolation valves on every circuit. The choice depends on project specifications and on how the product is positioned commercially.

Can the manifolds be used for cooling as well as heating?

Yes, the range is designed for both radiant heating and radiant cooling. The same manifolds serve floor, wall and ceiling systems, so there is no need to change components between the winter and summer seasons.

What are the flow meters on a manifold for?

Flow meters are used to balance the flow rate of each radiant circuit. The transparent indicator gives an immediate reading of the value and allows every loop in the system to be adjusted precisely. Our range offers them with either a brass or a technopolymer body.

What is an M30x1.5 valve insert and what does it do?

The M30x1.5 valve insert is the regulating element fitted to the manifold, onto which the thermal actuator screws. Our inserts and lockshields are made from very high quality brass, paired with EPDM PEROX O-rings and seals that hold a high compression set at both high and low temperatures.

Are the actuators compatible with other brands of manifold?

Yes. Our 2-wire and 4-wire actuators fit most manifolds on the market thanks to the standard M30x1.5 thread. On request we can also change the stroke and the opening and closing times to match a customer's specification.

Which pipe types can be connected with EK fittings?

Our Euroconus compression fittings connect PEX, PERT and multilayer pipe to the manifold. The Universal version widens dimensional compatibility and, to OEM specification, we also produce fittings for non-standard pipe sizes such as 17x2.2.

What types of underfloor heating pipe do you produce?

We extrude PEX-A EVOH pipe in 3-layer and 5-layer versions, second-generation PERT EVOH, PEX-AL-PEX and PERT-AL-PERT in house. Every pipe can be produced to customer specification for colour and marking.

What does a magnetic filter do in a heating system?

A magnetic dirt separator captures impurities and ferromagnetic particles circulating in the system. That protects pumps and heat exchangers, extends their working life and keeps system efficiency and reliability stable over time.
