Quality control

Quality

Not just a goal, but a philosophy that guides every stage of our work.

Quality is not just a goal but a philosophy that guides every stage of our work. Every production process is controlled and verified daily, in close collaboration, by our internal team. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in continuous monitoring and careful management of production processes.

Thanks to this meticulous approach, we ensure that every production, assembly and testing cycle is continuously optimized and improved. We use the most advanced technologies, such as integrated cameras and automatic assembly machines, to minimize subjectivity and ensure impeccable precision.

Our mission is to ensure that every product not only meets but exceeds expectations in terms of performance and durability. Every stage includes rigorous testing cycles and life tests, to verify performance and guarantee maximum reliability even after years of use.

Control in every cycle

Daily control

Every process verified day by day by the team.

Cameras and automation

Automatic assembly to reduce subjectivity.

Life testing

Performance verified even after years of use.

Micro-leak testing

High-sensitivity leak detectors on every piece.

Custom moulds

Moulds for plastic components, also exclusive

At Simplex Hydronic Technology we are deeply committed to making moulds for plastic components. Every mould, whether for Simplex or exclusively for one of our customers, is designed and built according to a preliminary study of the part, its mould flow and the type of plastic material to be used.

Our moulds are made to be used on hydraulic or electric presses. We make moulds to each customer's specific request and on an exclusive basis.

Preliminary analysis of part and material.
Hydraulic or electric presses
Moulds designed for both technologies.
Exclusive
Made to customer specification, reserved.

Frequently asked questions about quality control

How are the manifolds tested?

Every manifold is tested individually on a compressed air test rig. High-sensitivity leak detectors pick up even micro-leaks, so any potential defect is identified before the product reaches the market.

Is leak testing done on every part or on samples?

Leak testing is carried out on 100% of production: every piece is tested, not a sample from the batch. Accessories fitted to a manifold are tested together with it, while accessories sold separately undergo individual testing.

How are the actuators tested?

Every actuator goes through a full electronic check. The test verifies correct operation and, on models fitted with a microswitch, confirms that activation happens within the expected times and behaviour.

What checks are carried out on the pipe?

Sample analyses are run on every batch to verify the degree of cross-linking of the material and its pressure resistance. Further sample tests accompany the extrusion stage throughout the production process.

Who controls quality during production?

Our in-house team verifies every production process day by day. Continuous monitoring exists to optimise the production, assembly and testing cycles, not simply to reject non-conforming parts.

How is human error reduced on the line?

We use cameras and automated assembly machines to minimise operator subjectivity. Automated actuator assembly delivers high precision, process repeatability and consistent quality standards on every unit.

What are life tests?

They are test cycles that verify how a product performs over time, confirming it stays reliable even after years of use. They run alongside leak testing at every stage of our process.

How long does a Simplex mould last?

Our moulds for plastic components are designed for a working life of more than 1,000,000 pieces. Each mould is built from a study of the part, the mould flow and the type of plastic material used.
