Production
From semi-finished parts to final testing: an industrial process controlled at every stage, in Italy and at our offshore plants.
Manifolds
Four key stages, from machining to packaging.

- 01
Machining of semi-finished parts
Production starts with the machining of plastic and metal components: flow meters with brass or plastic body, M30x1.5 inserts, fill/drain valves and mounting brackets. Every element undergoes rigorous, continuous quality controls throughout the process, to ensure precision, reliability and compliance with the required technical standards.
- 02
Assembly
Manifold assembly takes place in Italy or, on request, directly at our offshore plants. In both configurations Simplex fully manages the process, ensuring that materials, design and quality standards remain unchanged and perfectly aligned with the original specifications.
- 03
100% testing
Every manifold is tested individually through a compressed-air testing system. High-sensitivity leak detectors identify even micro-leaks, ensuring total control and immediate detection of any potential defect before it reaches the market.
- 04
Packaging and customization
The final stage prepares the product according to the packaging and labelling specifications required by the customer. We use robust packaging designed for maximum protection during transport worldwide, plus fully customized solutions, including colour packaging with customer OEM branding.
Accessories
Moulding, assembly and testing of manifold components.

- 01
Machining of semi-finished parts
Production starts with the machining of plastic and metal components that make up each manifold accessory. For flow meters we mould each element using exclusively selected polymers. For brass components such as inserts, we use top-quality raw materials, combined with EPDM PEROX O-rings and gaskets, with high compression set even in extreme conditions, at high and low temperatures.
- 02
Assembly
Accessory assembly takes place directly at our production plants. Simplex internally manages and coordinates the entire process, ensuring quality consistency, build precision and compliance with the defined technical standards.
- 03
100% testing
Accessories mounted on manifolds are 100% tested with compressed air and high-sensitivity leak detectors to identify any micro-leaks. Accessories sold individually undergo 100% individual testing, ensuring maximum reliability for the end customer.
- 04
Packaging and customization
The final stage prepares the product according to the customer's packaging and labelling specifications. We use robust packaging for maximum protection during global transport, with fully customized solutions, including colour packaging with OEM branding.
Actuators
Wax core, automated assembly and electronic testing.

- 01
Machining and sourcing
The process starts with the machining and selection of components. We produce the wax element in-house, the functional heart of the actuator, responsible for the movement of the piston. Alongside this, we source strategic components such as micro-switches, electrical cables, springs and gaskets, plus in-house production of plastic and metal parts.
- 02
Automated assembly
Actuator assembly takes place through automated processes within our plants, entirely managed and coordinated by Simplex. This approach enables high precision, process repeatability and consistent quality standards on every unit.
- 03
100% testing
Every actuator undergoes a complete electronic check. The test verifies correct operation and, in models with a micro-switch, also checks that activation occurs at the expected time and manner, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with specifications.
- 04
Customization and packaging
The final stage covers product customization, with the customer logo applied on request, and packaging preparation to specification. We use robust packaging for global shipping, with customizable solutions, including colour packaging and internal components with OEM branding.
Pipes
Selected raw material, extrusion and quality control.

- 01
Raw material sourcing
Production starts with the selection of the raw material, supplied by a partner compounder we have collaborated with for years. This collaboration guarantees high quality standards, consistent material performance and fast, reliable lead times.
- 02
Extrusion and production
The production phase involves extruding our pipes: PEX-A EVOH in 3 and 5 layers, second-generation PERT EVOH, PEX-AL-PEX and PERT-AL-PERT. Every batch undergoes sample testing during the process. Pipes are made to customer specifications, for colour, markings and technical identifications.
- 03
Analysis and quality control
Sample analyses are carried out on every batch to verify the correct degree of cross-linking of the material and pressure resistance. These controls ensure high performance and compliance with the standards required for radiant and hydronic systems.
- 04
Packaging and customization
The final stage covers packaging and customization. We offer cardboard box packaging with custom logo or transparent film wrapping, also customizable. External labels are made to specific request, consistent with the customer's OEM identity.
